Ältere Cursor-Versionen lesen alternativ eine einzelne .cursorrules-Datei im Projektstamm; dort einfach den Regel-Text ohne den Kopfblock zwischen den ----Zeilen einfügen.
Der Regel-Text ist englisch — Cursor versteht ihn unabhängig von der Sprache, in der Sie mit dem Editor chatten.

Diese Cursor-Regel bündelt Konventionen für die Kombination Next.js, React und Tailwind CSS: Komponentenstruktur, Naming, Utility-Klassen statt eigener CSS-Dateien, App-Router-Patterns. Der Mehrwert liegt weniger in neuen Fähigkeiten als in Wiederholbarkeit: gleiche Ordnerstruktur, gleiche Import-Reihenfolge, gleiche Tailwind-Schreibweise über das ganze Projekt hinweg, statt dass jede Cursor-Session eigene Stilentscheidungen trifft. Lohnt sich vor allem für Teams oder Projekte, in denen mehrere Personen oder mehrere Sessions am selben Repo arbeiten und Stilbrüche vermeiden wollen. Für Solo-Projekte mit bereits klarer eigener Konvention ist der Zusatznutzen geringer.

In .cursor/rules/ ablegen, dann bei neuen Komponenten einfach “Erstelle eine ProductCard-Komponente” schreiben — Struktur und Tailwind-Stil folgen automatisch der Regel.
