Ältere Cursor-Versionen lesen alternativ eine einzelne .cursorrules-Datei im Projektstamm; dort einfach den Regel-Text ohne den Kopfblock zwischen den ----Zeilen einfügen.

Der Regel-Text ist englisch — Cursor versteht ihn unabhängig von der Sprache, in der Sie mit dem Editor chatten.

Diese Regel bringt Cursor dazu, bei Android-Projekten idiomatischen, deklarativen Kotlin-Code im Jetpack-Compose-Stil zu erzeugen — also State-Hoisting, Composable-Funktionen statt XML-Layouts und Compose-typische Nebenläufigkeitsmuster statt klassischer View-basierter Ansätze. Für Android-Entwickler, die von der alten View-Welt umsteigen oder ein neues Compose-Projekt starten, spart das Zeit, weil die KI nicht ständig veraltete Patterns vorschlägt. Wer noch mit klassischem Android-View-System arbeitet, profitiert davon kaum, da die Regel explizit auf den deklarativen Compose-Ansatz zugeschnitten ist.
